Not much to say about this as there isn't a whole lot of info right now, but SegaDriven stumbled upon a video showcasing a cancelled 3D re-boot of Sega classic Streets of Rage. Even more interesting, it seems to have been developed by the same team that brought you Crackdown 2.
The video descriptions reads: "Streets of Rage re-imagining for digital download console title".
The game looks fine graphically, although a little on the muddy side. The gameplay doesn't seem as tight as you could expect, but there's no way of telling whether or not this game was near completion or just in a beta stage.
Still, I would have personally loved to see Streets of Rage resurface in today's world of gaming, but as of right now, it was not meant to be.
